With coughs and colds making its rounds in all our homes at this time of the year….just sharing a delicious concoction that sorted my family out quickly this past week….hope it helps you too

Ginger Milk

Recipe makes 2 mugs
2 mugs milk
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp tumeric powder
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Small pinch of salt
1 chai tea bag
Honey to taste

Bring milk, ginger, tumeric, salt and black pepper to the boil on medium heat.
Once boiling, remove from heat and steep the chai teabag in the hot milk mix for a few minutes.
Remove teabag, add honey to taste and drink as hot as possible.

Moumita’s Refreshing Hot & Sweet Jui

TRH Moumita's Refreshing Hot & Sweet Juice

Ingredients
1 tomato (without seeds)
1 ripe mangoe (in cubes)
A pinch of red chilly flakes
A pinch of Cumin seed powder
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
1 pinch of Black Rock salt

Procedure:
Blend nicely all together nicely.
Sieve
Garnish with fresh mango & tomato pieces
Red chilly flakes
Serve cold.

TRH Moumita's Low Calorie Power Lunch With Homemade Digestive Drink

Ingredients
4 egg whites,
2 teaspoon of Oatmeal flour,
1 pinch of Oregano,
1 pinch of Black pepper powder,
1 pinch of rock salt.
Lightly tossed 1 Green pepper pieces,
1 tomato (without seeds) cut in small pieces

For the Digestive Drink.
Boil 2 cups of water for 5 minutes with
1 teaspoon of whole cumin seeds &
1 handful of Fresh Mint leaves.
Sieve & cool it.

Moumita’s Refreshing, Detoxifying Juice

TRH Moumita's Refreshing, Detoxifying Juice

Ingredients.
2 fresh Plums,
15 small pieces of Watermelon,
4 handfuls of Fresh Mint leaves,
2 teaspoons of fresh Lemon juice,
A pinch of Roasted Cumin seeds powder.

Procedure.
Remove the seed of Plums, cut in small pieces.
In a Juicer, mix all the ingredients together.

Serving.
You can sieve the juice or serve it without sieving, in that case mix more water.
Garnish with Plum, Watermelon pieces & fresh Mint leaves.
Enjoy & detox your system.
