An easy recipe to make your favourite spicy chicken at home.
1 whole chicken cut conveniently, or thin slices of chicken fillet
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp tomato puree
2-3 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard sauce
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp or crushed chillies
2 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp aromatic
1 tsp lemon pepper
Salt to taste
Blend all the above in a bowl and mix well, taste, if you prefer a thick sauce increase the ingredients.
Add the mixture to the chicken and Leave to marinate overnight or few hours.
Cook in butter or ghee on medium heat.
Serve with roti and potato wedges, sprinkle with Ina Paarman’s potato spice.
