Feriel’s Chocolate Slab Cake

TRH Feriel's Chocolate Slab Cake

4 eggs
1 ¼ cups sugar
½ cup oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
¾ cup water (Add the 1 teaspoon coffee to water)
1¾ cup self-raising
1 teaspoon Nescafe coffee
2½ tblsp cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder

Mix 1 teaspoon coffee with ¾ cup boiling water.
Set aside and let it cool off completely before adding to dry ingredients.
Beat eggs and sugar well.
Add vanilla essence, oil and water and mix well.
Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder and add to above ingredients.
Pour mixture into a well-greased baking pan 25cm x 36cm or square pyrex dish, and bake at 180C for 30 minutes.
When cool ice with icing of choice.

2 cups icing sugar
5 ml vanilla essence
1 tablespoon butter
Hot milk

Mix hot milk with icing sugar and butter until a soft spreadable icing for chocolate slab.
Add tablespoon hot milk until you get the right consistency, Enjoy
Garnish with a flake chocolate
Above cake I spread with whipped caramel treat on chocolate slab and decorated with whispers chocolate.
