1 cup Taystee Wheat
1 teaspoon egg yellow
1 cup sugar
ground Elachi (cardomom)
Pistachios, badam & sultanas
Milk mixture to be prepared and ready before you start the recipe
Beat milk & egg
Add saffron & egg yellow to the milk mixture.
Beat until the egg has mixed in.
Melt butter in a pot on low, when halfway melted
Add Taystee Wheat & nuts. Keep mixing until its little golden brown.
Then add the milk mixture and whisk on low heat
WhEn Sojee (semolina flour) is thickening.
Add the sugar and Elachi (cardomom)
Almonds – optional.
Stir and mix until Sojee (semolina flour) has formed, do not burn
The quickest, easiest and best recipe I’ve come across
Also Nestle dessert cream can be added when serving and top with coloured badaam (Almonds) or pistachio.
