Vashnee’s Vanilla Sponge Cake

TRH Vashnee's Vanilla Sponge Cake
Ingredients
125g butter
3/4 cup milk
3 large eggs3/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder.

Method
Beat sugar and butter
Add eggs and beat well
Add the remaining ingredients and beat until smooth, light and fluffy
Bake at 180°C for 40 mins

Glacé icing
Ingredients:
130g icing sugar
30ml warm water or (lemon juice or orange juice)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Method:
Mix until smooth and spread over cake
Allow to set.
