Jameela’s Chicken Halfmoons

TRH Jameela's Halfmoons
Ingredients
1 kg chicken cubed
1 tsp salt
2 tsp green chilli paste
2 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp black pepper
1 big green pepper cubed fine
1 tsp crushed jeero
1 tbls lemon juice
1 onion grated
2 tbls ghee
2 tbls oil
1 cup grated cheese
Dhania chopped up

Method
1.Saute the onion in the ghee and oil till soft.
2.Add chicken , spices and pepper and cook till water is dry.
3.Cool completely and add the white sauce, cheese and dhania.

White sauce
Ingredients:
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp flour
1 cup milk

Method:
Add all the ingredients in a pan and whisk well, bring to boil on medium heat till thick

Egg mixture for dipping
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 tsp oil
2 tbls milk
Method:
Whisk well together

Breadcrumbs for coating
Dough
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1 tsp fine salt
60 g margarine
1 1/4 cup boiling water

Method:
Sift the flour and add the salt.
Make breadcrumbs with the margarine
Make a soft dough with the boiling water.
Knead the dough very well and allow to stand for 15 minutes
Divide dough into 4 balls.
Roll out and cut as desired
Seal edges with egg.
Dip in egg mixture and roll on breadcrumbs.
Ready to dry or freeze.
