2 Cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg and elachi
1/2 cup milk/maas/water
2 tbsp margarine
Sift dry ingredients. Rub in margarine.
Mix milk/maas /water with egg and add to flour mixture.
Make 3 strips and plait. Deep fry in medium oil. Dip in syrup.
1 cup water
1½ – 2 cups sugar
Boil until it reduces and thickens, for about 10-15 mins on medium heat.
Take it off the stove and cool syrup
