Nazley’s Homemade Mini gourmet Pies

Ingredients:
1 packet todays pastry.
1/4 cup finely sliced red cabbage.
1/4 cup finely chopped spinach.
1 small onion.

Method:
Braise onion. Add cabbage and spinach with a green chilli, salt and pepper. Allow to cool.
Take 2 chicken breasts cubed and washed. Braise this in another pot with salt, pepper, garlic, once done lastly add fresh coriander.
Allow to cool.
1/4 cup cheese and feta mixed (must be chunky).
Cut the pasty in equal squares. Place a teaspoon full of cabbage mixture, then chicken and lastly cheese mixture.
Sandwich with pastry and press the sides with a fork. Bake at 180 ‘C. Until lightly browned in oven.
You can substitute chicken with steak strips.
Enjoy with a greek salad.
OR
Place in trays and freeze, as I’m doing in the picture.
