250g butter ( soft)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
500g all purpose flour
♥ Beat butter and sugar
♥ Add eggs and vanilla and beat well
♥ Mix in sifted flour to form a soft smooth dough
♥ Colour a small portion with red gel colour.
♥ Leave remaining dough uncoloured
♥ Flatten dough between plastic wrap and refrigerate for 40 mins
♥ Roll out uncoloured dough and cut heart shapes and place on a lined baking tray using a small heart cutter, cut out heart center and replace with the same size red heart.
Bake at 200°C for 35 mins until edges just turn slightly brown.
