Preshana’s Beignets


2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp dry yeast
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp milk powder
1/2 tsp Salt
Orange zest
1 egg
Warm water

Place dry ingredients in food processor.
Add egg, oil to a measuring cup, top it up with warm water to make up I cup of liquid.
Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and mix for about 5 minutes to form a sticky dough.
Place dough in a well oiled bowl, cover and allow to rise to double in size.
Roll out to 5mm, cut into desired shapes.
Place on a floured surface, cover and allow to rise double in size.
Fry on medium heat, drain and cool.
Dust with icing sugar or a mixture of sugar and cinnamon
