Nazley’s Stewed Mince with braised vegetables


1kg steak mince. (Washed and strained)
Salt to taste.
Stick cinnamon
5 cardamon pods
3 green chillies whole
1/2 tspn tumeric
1 tspn cumin masala
1 tspn curry masala
1 tspn steak and chops masala
1 1/2 tspn gharam masala
3 large tomtaos chopped
1 of each (white and purple onion) chopped
1/4 cup tomato sauce.

Braise onion, cinnamon and cardamon in olive oil.
Add tomtaoes and chillies. Allow to smoore.
Add masala and cook for 5 mins.
Add the mince and tomatoe sauce. Cook till done. Do not add water.
Lastly add the dhania.
Serve with vegetable of choice. And roti/rice or toast bread.
I used red onion, green pepper, patty pans, red cabbage and spinach.
This mince can be used to make a lasagne as well.
